Hop-on Set to Introduce the Latest CDMA Technology to their Line-up
Hop-on will debut two new styles of 450MHz CDMA phones, the 1912 and the 1913 with roaming capabilities to their line of innovative cellular devices with many purchase orders expected to generate from the release of these new, hot items.
Irvine, Calif. (October 25, 2007) – Hop-on, Inc., a leading developer and marketer of wireless phones and accessories, and one of only three American manufacturers of CDMA phones, announced today that it will introduce two new 450 MHz CDMA cell phones, the 1912 and the 1913, to their line of innovative, affordable cellular devices. Hop-on is best known for using their own inventive, cutting-edge technology to create, build and market the first disposable cell phone, which is the most cost-effective CDMA phone on the market.
The 1912 and 1913 models feature internal antennas and a sleek, light-weight design. Both models have full-color screens, while the 1913 utilizes a higher-resolution screen for sharper images, making either handset the perfect choice in low-end phones for consumers and carriers in emerging markets, who tend to favor enhanced American standard products over the cheaper versions out of Asia.
“The challenge of building a low-end phone is building one that is high-quality,” says Hop-on’s President, Peter Michaels. “We are very excited to introduce our new phones because they are sleek and stylish, while still remaining affordable. Cell phones are a status symbol, especially within the emerging markets. The 1912 and 1913 empower these people to buy them because they look and perform so sharply. We look forward to showing them to customers in target markets within Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America.”
Both the 1912 and the 1913 are ready for fully-tested and ready for mass production in a number of countries including, Russia, Romania, Czech Republic, Georgia, Uzbekistan, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Uganda, Nigeria and several Middle Eastern nations. With a price range around $60-$70, the 1912 and the 1913 will cost much less than any competitive phone on the market while offering far-better features.
According CDG.org, CDMA networks currently support over 377 million subscribers worldwide, and as CDMA phones become R-UIM enabled and roaming contracts between networks improve, integration of the standards could easily make CDMA phones the fastest growing market segment worldwide.
